Tarkan Live in Ankara: A century of history, a night of magic in the rain!

Despite the pouring rain, tens of thousands of people flocked to the Başkent Millet Bahçesi (the National Garden) hours before the event, forming miles-long queues just to be there. “We love him so much!”, fans sang in the crowd. Our beloved Tarkan proved once again why he is the one and only, true Megastar.
A Historic Milestone and a Massive Crowd The event celebrated a century of history: Koç Holding was founded in Ankara on May 31, 1926. For this incredible anniversary, the company chose the biggest and most representative voice of Turkey. A massive crowd of 70,000 people filled the area: 30,000 employees of the group joined by 40,000 music lovers from the capital who managed to secure the free tickets made available through the Biletix platform, which were literally snapped up.
The Show: Legendary Hits and Wit on Stage Tarkan took the stage at 21:30 and opened the show explosively with “Ölürüm Sana”. The crowd went wild, singing in unison timeless hits like “Dudu”, “Ay”, “Hüp”, “Sevdanın Son Vuruşu”, and “Şıkıdım”. It touched everyone to hear him sing “Kış Güneşi” still with the exact same intensity and magic as the very first day.
There was also a moment of playful connection: due to the rain and the slippery surface of the stage, Tarkan joked saying: “Don’t be surprised if I walk strangely. Don’t say, ‘What happened to Tarkan’s moves?’ Oh, please, rain, rain, for heaven’s sake!”.
