The Roots: From Constantinople to Italy

My connection to Turkey is not a recent choice, but an ancestral calling. I descend from the noble Barlaam family, whose roots are deeply embedded in the Byzantine aristocracy of Constantinople. My family history is inextricably linked to figures such as Barlaam of Calabria, a 14th-century scholar and diplomat who served as a vital bridge between the Eastern Empire and the West.

This heritage, which blends the prestige of Levantine history with the title of the Counts Ammazzalorso of Sant’Orsola, is the heartbeat of my work today.

The Mission: Honoring Excellence

Growing up with this awareness inspired me to transform a blood bond into a professional mission. As a Project Manager and Translator, I founded an international platform dedicated to promoting Turkish excellence across Europe (Italy, France, and Spain).
